Ministering to the Deaf in Your Community
The office of Bibles for the Blind International often receives inquires
about ministering to the Deaf. Schools for the blind and schools for the
deaf are located together in many states, so people assume that the ministries
go together as well. The ministry to the blind and the ministry to the deaf
are truly two separate ministries. For more information about beginning

[3 HOURS COLLEGE CREDIT]
We can help your Church have a DEAF Department.
We also have a 12-hour class teaching how to build
the DEAF Department after you learn Sign Language.

Silent Word Ministries
Silent Word Ministries, is dedicated to reaching Deaf
people with the Gospel and helping teach them the Bible.
We have a wide variety of materials available, including
a nine-year Sunday School program, a free correspondence
Deaf Bible Institute, a bi-monthly newspaper, and over
300 titles of literature written for Deaf people and deaf
ministry workers. We also carry materials produced by others.
